#1. WordPress Firewall (must-have)

Function: To check every access to our blog, and identify all possible attempts for malicious attack such as SQL injection etc.

On the last few weeks, the most common SQL injection attack got caught by WordPress Firewall plugin try to use the security hole found in plugins such as WordSpew, FGallery, Simple Forum and Adserve. So always make sure that you use the latest version of WordPress and their plugins to minimize the security hole in our blog.

#2. Login Lockdown (must-have)

Function: Prevent brute force attack to WordPress login form, after 3 failed attempts to login, access to login form from those IP address will be blocked for about 1 hour.

#3. WordPress AntiVirus

Function: To check whether the template we currently use contain harmful code (exploit/spam injection/frame injection etc) or not. Scanning process can be done manually or scheduled in daily basis.
